Makeesha Munro
Owner Root 54 Farm
Makeesha is anew gourmet mushroom producer in Collins, Mo. She and her partner, Travis, opened Root 54 Farm in March of 2024. With little experience, the first year was full of challenges and learning opportunities. Through the valuable support of the Heartland Regional Food Business Center including mentorship program through New Growth, they now offer six varieties of mushrooms and are looking forward to continued growth in 2025.
