Farmer to Farmer September Meeting

Some Farmer to Farmer Meetings are virtual and sometimes they are in-person.

Join us Wednesday, September 24, from 12–1 PM on Zoom for our September Beginning Farmer to Farmer Meeting!

This month’s Farmer to Farmer gathering features Tom Ruggieri of Fair Share Farm, a long-time farmer and soil health advocate. Tom will dig into the vital role that healthy soil plays in resilient farming operations—covering practical steps you can take now to strengthen soil biology, manage fertility, and set the stage for productive fields next year.

Whether you’re managing row crops, vegetables, or mixed operations, Tom will share real-world strategies for cover crops, soil amendments, and seasonal preparation that help sustain yields while building long-term soil health.

Come ready to learn, share, and connect—this is one you won’t want to miss!
