Join the New Growth Team and Support Local Farmers

Two New Growth Job Openings for Supporting Farmers and Rural Entrepreneurs (updated January 23, 2026)
New Growth is looking for two passionate, community-minded individuals to join our team! Both positions offer the chance to make a real impact in rural Missouri while enjoying a four-day work week, a mix of remote and in-person work, and great benefits.
🌱 Programs and Policy Director
Do you have a passion for strengthening family farms and local food systems? The Programs and Policy Director will strengthen family farm operations and elevate farmer voices by working with New Growth and the Missouri Farmers Union to build a statewide coalition that supports family farmers and expands their opportunities in local and regional food markets. This position is part of a collaborative, statewide team focused on advancing policy and market changes that make it easier for consumers and communities to connect with and buy from neighboring, independent food producers. This position is made possible by new grant funding through the Missouri Foundation for Health.
Do you have a heart for helping beginning farmers succeed? The Farm Outreach Coordinator will lead programs and outreach to connect with under served agricultural producers in West Central Missouri. This role manages the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development project and co-chairs New Growth’s annual Farm to Fork Summit, a major regional event celebrating local food, farm innovation, and community connections.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with farmers and partners to build relationships, organize educational opportunities, and strengthen our region’s local food systems.
🌱 Why Work at New Growth?
At New Growth, we believe in empowering rural communities by supporting local businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs. Our team works collaboratively across programs to strengthen local economies and build resilient food systems.
If you’re ready to make a difference and join a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
