Missouri Rural Food Access Partnership (MRFAP) is seeking Community Representatives.

Are you passionate about ensuring everyone in your community has access to healthy, affordable food? The Missouri Rural Food Access Partnership (MRFAP) is looking for engaged rural residents to serve as Community Representatives on its advisory board—no formal education or professional experience required.

This is your opportunity to make a real difference. As a Community Representative, you’ll:

  • Share local perspectives to guide food access programs
  • Help shape stories that spotlight your community’s strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with others across the state to remove barriers to nutrition security

What You’ll Do:
You’ll join three in-person meetings each year and participate in monthly virtual check-ins. You’ll also help identify neighbors to feature in community stories, support outreach efforts, and participate in training that equips you to advocate for lasting change.

What You’ll Get:

  • $50 monthly stipend for active participation
  • Gas cards to help cover travel to meetings
  • Advocacy training and support
  • A meaningful way to give voice to your community

Term: Through June 2027 (dependent on continued grant funding)
