NEW RESOURCE FOR RURAL ENTREPRENEURS

The New Growth Women’s Business Center is a new resource for rural entrepreneurs in all stages of business development and growth. It focuses on the power and potential of women to employ themselves, provide jobs for others, and build their local economies and communities.

Contact the New Growth Women’s Business Center for assistance anywhere on the business journey. Our job is to help you move forward, whether that means improving your credit score or developing an export strategy.

Staff will assist you directly or connect you with resources. The New Growth Women’s Business Center is in the business of pulling together and activating business development resources to ensure rural entrepreneurs get going and growing.

SERVICES

Services are available to women and men in 15 rural west central Missouri and southeastern Kansas counties. Missouri counties are Barton, Bates, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Henry, Hickory, Morgan, Polk, St. Clair and Vernon. Kansas counties are Bourbon and Crawford.

Leadership building
Peer to peer networking
Certifications (exporting, government contracting)

New Growth Women’s Business Center will also come to you! We partner with organizations across the 15-county territory for local meetup sites with entrepreneurs.

WHO WE ARE

Women’s Business Center designation comes from the U.S. Small Business Administration, which provided initial funding to launch this new rural resource. The New Growth community development corporation operates the New Growth Women’s Business Center in cooperation with its parent organization West Central Missouri Community Action Agency and on behalf of the regional START HERE Business Acceleration Network.
