April 29 event will launch regional business acceleration network.

The next “5th Monday” community economic development networking luncheon takes place April 29 in historic downtown Clinton. Hosts West Central Missouri Community Action Agency and its community development corporation New Growth invite you to join in the conversation.

Please RSVP by April 22 to info@newgrowthmo.org.

April Siegfried is one of west central Missouri’s new entrepreneurs. Her Chilhowee Corner Store serves neighbors as well as visitors enjoying the nearby Rock Island Spur of the Katy Trail.

Our focus this time is entrepreneurship. We will hear about a new business acceleration network organized to lift our region’s economy by honing in on the needs of aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in our rural communities. A news conference about this network will precede the luncheon.

The first 5th Monday luncheon last October in Appleton City brought dozens of local and regional leaders together. Feedback confirmed strong interest in getting together to share ideas, resources, and strategies. We continue the 5th Monday series with that guidance and welcome more going forward.
